If colors could tell me stories...

In this series, I delve into the heart of the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales to bring them to life through words, materials, and colors. It's a sensitive journey, where my adult heart and my artistic imagination revisit these stories that enchanted, questioned, and nourished my childhood.

What remains of it once we reach adulthood? What are these heroines, heroes, and shadowy figures, who populate our collective memories, still whispering to us?

To bring this quest to life, each series of canvases is born from a ritual: self-praise. A poetic and instinctive writing that becomes the initial breath, the first spark. On the raw canvas, the structure of the acrylic provides the anchor, before the free stroke of the pastel and the strength of the oil stick come to translate pure emotion and the archetype.

Here, abstraction does not seek to illustrate the tale, but to reveal its intimate vibration and universal resonance.

Explore the worlds of each tale below. Click on the image to enter the dedicated gallery, discover the four canvases that compose it, and read the self-praise that guided my creation.
